    Parents & Community Survey
    On behalf of the Washington Parish School Board, I am asking you to please  take this survey.  The responses are completely anonymous and will be recorded and monitored by an external source. This information is vital to the Board as we move forward with the search process for the next Superintendent.  We appreciate everyone's constructive, and frank, feedback into the search process. 

    The Mt. Hermon School Parent Center is always open in the school library for parent to access at any time during the school day.

    Mrs. Lahoma Vernon is our school’s parent educator and is always willing to assist anyone. Parents are welcome to complete job applications, check on student's grades and test scores.

    We are kicking off a Cookie Dough Sale to raise funds for 

    Student Incentive Rewards

    for state testing and other rewards.

    MHS FFA is taking orders for Plaquemines Parish Satsumas- cost $22 for a 20lb box. Orders must be pre-paid by November 15th at 8:30 am. 

    The Lady J's softball team is selling trash bags- 30 & 50 gallon size bags for $12 a box of 25.  Orders are due by November 12 at 8:30 am.

    Drop off & Pick up times

    Students can be dropped off at MHS between 7:15-7:40 am.

    Pick up time will begin at 2:55 pm.

    Severe weather procedure for morning student drop-off.

    All vehicles should enter through the north gate after 7:15.  

    Students in grades 6th - 12th should exit vehicles under the walkway behind the gym if they are not going to breakfast.

    All Pre-K- 12th grade students going to breakfast  should exit the vehicle by the cafeteria walkway.
