Garden Club

Mt. Hermon School would like to thank the Mt. Hermon Garden Club for donating a Chinese Magnolia tree to the school.  Mrs. Given’s Ag class planted the tree on the front lawn of the campus.

2014-2015

  • For the 2014-2015 school year there will be a $20.00 classroom fee for High School and Junior High Students.
  • Any student who needs to register must bring a drop slip from the previous school, proof of address (light bill, water bill, or telephone bill in your name, Cell phone bills will not be accepted), birth certificate, social security card, shot record, and a copy of their transcript or report card. 
  • For additional information or concerns, please contact the school at 877-5813.

Meet and Greet

Elementary Meet & Greet will be held on

August 6th from 2:30- 5:30.

Students may bring

classroom supplies and class fee

to their classrooms.

They should wear a school uniform

shirt to have school ID picture taken.

RESPECT

The MHS Good Samaritan Club has been busy helping the community by picking up litter to fill the word RESPECT.  Each member served at least 3 hours of community service.

Rainy Weather Procedure for Car Riders:

If it is raining, please enter the campus through the north gate (located next to the high school building). If a student is not eating breakfast and in high school or junior high, they may be dropped off at the breezeway located between the gym and junior high building.  All students eating breakfast or who are in elementary grades need to be dropped off at the breezeway located between the cafeteria and the elementary building.  Please be aware of students crossing through breezeways or from the student parking lot!

On January 16, 2014 both Mt. Hermon's Junior High girls teams coached by Rhonda Waskom placed second in the Washington Parish Jr. High Basketball Tournament.  Both teams (7th & 8th grade) played Franklinton Jr. High in the finals which were held at FJHS.
